IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN

Location: BIGBREW MAIN OFFICE, MALABON

Job Description:

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware including desktops, laptops, basic servers, and peripherals.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning components and replacing faulty parts.
  • Respond to and resolve basic hardware-related support tickets in a timely manner.
  • Document issues and resolutions for recurring hardware problems.
  • Assist with inventory management of IT hardware equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • 0–2 years of experience in an IT support role, with emphasis on hardware troubleshooting and repair.
  • Fresh graduates with strong internship or on-the-job training in hardware support are encourage to apply.
  • Technical Skills (Required):
  • Operating Systems:
  • Proficient in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware-related issues on Windows 10/11.
  • Basic understanding of macOS and Linux environments.
  • PC Hardware:
  • Solid understanding of internal PC components (CPU, RAM, motherboard, GPU, HDD/SSD).
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware failures.
  • Peripheral Devices:
  • Experience in the installation and troubleshooting of office peripherals such as printers, scanners, and projectors.
  • Basic Networking:
  • Understanding of core networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
  • Ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues related to Ethernet, Wi-Fi adapters, etc.
  • Troubleshooting Tools:
  • Familiarity with hardware diagnostic tools is an advantage.
  • Cabling:
  • Knowledge of Ethernet, HDMI, USB, and DisplayPort cabling types.
  • Basic understanding of proper cable handling and termination techniques.
  • Other Requirements:
  • Willing to work onsite 5 days a week in Malabon.
